The Master of Science (MS) in Marketing provides you the skills you will need to advance your career as a marketer. Baruch offers a broad range of world-class courses to prepare you for positions in media planning, communications strategy, account management, corporate (digital) marketing, and marketing research and analytics.
The MS Program is shorter and more focused than the MBA (30 total credits instead of 57). Four core courses of 3 credits each are required of all MS-Marketing students, and provide a solid foundation in consumer decision making/insights and the strategic process.
Students can take any elective offered by our department for their additional 18 program credits, including the Statistics and Computer Information Systems courses listed below.

* Requires prior completion of STA 9708 (Applied Statistical Analysis for Business Decisions). This prerequisite can be waived if student has taken one undergraduate statistics course within the last 5 years, with a minimum grade of B-. Students who are not waived from STA 9708 will take it in addition to the degree’s 30 credits.
