Our focus is to ensure that your career advances to the next level. Baruch’s programs combine theoretical and practical approaches, left and right brain skills, to educate and connect the most talented and forward-thinking marketing executives of the future.
For example, you can specialize in key areas like Digital Marketing and Market Research & Analytics, while our broad list of marketing electives offers you the flexibility to expand and specialize in other areas as well.
Our two degree-programs have different goals: The Master of Science (MS) in Marketing allows you to advance to the next level within the marketing function, in fields like media planning, communications strategy, account management, corporate (digital) marketing, and marketing research and analytics. The MS Program is shorter and more focused than the MBA (30 credits instead of 57). The MBA allows you to have a broad strategic vision spanning across functional areas.
Do it Full-Time or Part-Time
Both MS and MBA can be completed part-time. The part-time program is ideal if you are a working professional who seeks maximum flexibility. Courses are offered in the evenings and you decide how many courses and credits you take each semester.
But you can also study full-time if your schedule allows it. Learn the skills; achieve your degree, and advance to the next level even faster.
The Master of Science in Marketing can be completed in one calendar year of full-time study, whether you begin the program in Fall or Spring. If you are interested in this option, contact the Department or the Office of Graduate Programs for information on the course sequence you need to follow. Both the concentrations in Digital Marketing and Marketing Analytics can be completed as 12-Month options.
