Louis Cohen brings over fifteen years of Internet Advertising experience as the SVP - Head of Search, Affiliate Marketing, & Lead Generation for Citibank. Louis & his team drive branding, acquisition, & engagement efforts across Financial Services. Before joining Citi, Louis spent 6 years in leadership roles at Microsoft Advertising as a Regional Manager for the Microsoft Media Network & Search Account Management teams. Louis began his career as an internet entrepreneur in the late 1990’s, leading him to roles as a General Manager or Director of Marketing at several e-commerce start-ups. Louis actively speaks at numerous industry events & teaches MBA classes in Digital Marketing, Search Marketing, & Social Media Marketing at Baruch College as well as Digital Marketing classes at NYU’s Stern School of Business. He holds a BS in Industrial Management & Entrepreneurship from Carnegie Mellon University & an MBA from Baruch College. More recently, Louis was an honoree of Gramercy Institute’s 20 Rising Stars in Financial Marketing Awards & Direct Marketing News’ 40 Under 40 Awards.
Maithily Erande’s professional background has been an Analytics expert and a Product Manager/ Vice President for Product Engineering with several Fortune 100 clients including Apple, Microsoft, Dun & Bradstreet, JP Morgan Chase, and Cisco, Sesame Street. Her professional “sweet spot” is “Digital Media Analytics” - to launch “Dashboards” products in the media space to help clients understand the value proposition of Organized and Actionable information. Some of the real world problems Maithily has solved and opportunities created across Europe, Asia and North America in the Finance, Media and Telecom domains include Real Time Big Data Analytics, Cross Platform Media Analytics, Enterprise Risk Management, Global Financial Data Warehouse. Maithily received her Bachelors in Engineering (Computer Science) in India, and MBA from INSEAD, France and Singapore.
Linda Gharib is an SVP of Digital Marketing, Head of Cross-Channel Initiatives at Citigroup. Linda is responsible for leading a team to develop Citi’s global digital marketing center of excellence. Prior to joining Citi, Linda held several digital media roles at Microsoft where developed digital strategies in partnership with agencies and brands including Procter & Gamble, Kraft, Delta, Bank of America, Verizon, Dell, Lowe’s and Macy’s. Linda serves as an Adjunct Professor of Internet Marketing & Global Business in the MBA program at the Zicklin School of Business with experience teaching in the US, Taiwan and Singapore. Linda is a former board member of the CMO Council and the 212NYC Interactive Club of New York. Linda holds a BA from Hunter College, an MBA from Baruch College in New York City and she studied abroad in Florence, Geneva and Zurich. Edward Goldberg is a leading expert on globalization and how Geo-economic-political events will shape our lives. At Baruch he teaches courses related to globalization and to international trade. In addition he is on the adjunct faculty of NYU’s Center for Global Affairs. He is also president of the Annisa Group, a firm that advises clients on strategic and tactical issues involving globalization, trade development and trade finance. Annisa has worked with firms as Goldman Sachs, Rockefeller Brother’s Fund, and Raiffeisen Zentralbank. He is a much-quoted author and has been cited by Thomas Friedman in The New York Times, Roubini Global Economics, Yale Global on Line, American Foreign Policy Interests, as well as the Charlie Rose Show. He is a regular contributor to the HuffingtonPost and the Globalist has been interviewed by various radio and TV stations. Mr. Goldberg represented the Department of State at the International Conference on International Relations and Problems of Globalization in St. Petersburg, Russia. He was a member of President Barack Obama's Foreign Policy Network Team for the 2008 Presidential election.
Bahriye Goren is the co-founder of Art of Branding, a marketing consultancy with offices in Europe and the US. She is a brand strategist with over 12 years of international experience. Half of her career was with Unilever, in brand management, in her last role launching Ben & Jerry’s across Europe. She switched to the agency side in 2007 focusing on building global brands. Industries ranging from CPG, financial institutions, fashion labels, consumer electronics to pharmaceuticals. Companies she has consulted for include: Novartis, PepsiCo, Sony, Sara Lee, MTV and AMEX. Bahriye is an adjunct professor at Baruch’s Marketing department, teaching for the Marketing MS and MBA program as well as the Executive MBA program in New York, Singapore and Taiwan. Bahriye has worked in four continents, speaks five languages and holds a Masters degree in Business Economics from the Erasmus School of Economics. Recent speaking engagements include conferences at Columbia Business School Alumni Club on the topic of “Branding by Fortune 500” and NYU Stern’s Center for Measurable Marketing, on the topic of “Brand Storytelling in Digital”.
For over a decade Marshall Sponder has influenced the development of the digital analytics field with his industry blog, WebMetricsGuru, that focuses on Social Media Metrics and Web Intelligence. Marshall is the author of Social Media Analytics (McGraw-Hill 2011) and possesses considerable in-house corporate experience as a visionary at IBM and Monster, combined with contract work for Porter Novelli PR, small businesses and start-ups. Marshall developed and teaches various web intelligence courses at Baruch, Rutgers and FIT, he is also leading the development and delivery of a groundbreaking course on Creating Viral Media at Rutgers using Big Data.
Dan Stone is a technology and business executive with over 20 years of experience with Fortune 500 companies, including JP Morgan Chase, Ernst & Young, Lehman Brothers and Pfizer. Dan has managed strategic marketing, finance and sales initiatives, such as closed-loop multi-channel marketing, product websites, executive dashboards and KPI (Key Performance Indicators) programs, as well as business intelligence, collaboration and content management portals. He has also architected large process re-engineering and business transformation programs for multiple business divisions. Dan has Master Degrees in Electrical Engineering (from NYU Polytechnics) and in Computer Science (from Polytechnics University of Bucharest, Romania).
Amitai Touval received his PhD in Cultural Anthropology from Brown University. He was a lecturer at Harvard University’s Committee on Degrees in Social Studies, and an instructor at MIT’s Anthropology Program. Working at ITAP International, he was responsible for business development, channel marketing, and sales. He is currently responsible for ITAP’s social media marketing. He also leads ITAP’s business ethics practice, which includes tools that focus on motivation and organizational culture. He was an invited speaker at the Honors College Program, the Institute for Ethical Leadership, Rutgers University. His articles appeared in trade journals, such as the Shanghai Business Review and Fraud Magazine, and academic journals, such as Urbanity, Journal for the Society of the Anthropology of Europe, and Anthropology of East Europe Review.
